The JCC Jewelry Studio on the Upper West Side welcomes beginners into a supportive, hands-on environment and offers students with intermediate to advanced skill levels an opportunity to master new, more complex techniques.
We focus on quality materials, tools and equipment to achieve excellent results. Small classes foster relationships in this community setting and maximize the student : teacher experience. Our instructors are renowned working jewelers with extensive teaching experience, and are passionate about passing on this specialized craft to others.

Bench seats for up to 8 students, soldering stations, 2 rolling mills, enameling and granulation facilities, flex shafts, commercial tumbler, polishing and grinding machines, drill press, hydraulic press, sandblaster, assorted hammers/files/mandrels and more.
Open Studio Time for registered students in jewelry courses and workshops offers a 3-visit Open Studio card, provided at the first class. Additional cards can be purchased at the lobby box office: 5-visit Open Studio card $25/$35; 10-visit card $50/$70. (1st price listed for JCC Community members/2nd price for nonmembers.) Studio schedule will be distributed during the first week of classes.
Additional Costs: Students are required to provide their own small tools, metals, solders, and stones. A tool list will be reviewed at the first class session with more information and suppliers. Beginning students should expect to spend approximately $50 and up on materials and tools. A selection of large studio tools is available to sign out for use during class time only.
