Russian? Jewish? American?
Connect with other Russian Jewish Americans in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s in a lively Jewish community for recreation, social and cultural events, volunteer activities and Shabbat and holiday observances. Generation R is the place to meet other Russian-speakers in your age group through unique one-time events and high quality ongoing programming. With concerts, dinners, walking tours, rooftop films, museum outings, literary evenings, speed dating events, Russian-language children’s classes, Jewish holiday programs and many unique happenings, Generation R at The JCC in Manhattan is the place to expand your circle of Jewish life and New York City experiences amongst peers.
Generation R is now accepting nominations for a new advisory committee that will commence in 2010. Want to be active in planning future Generation R events? Interested in advising JCC staff on programmatic themes and marketing strategies? Want to create connections for Russian-speaking Jewish Americans with the larger JCC in Manhattan community? Nominate yourself or a friend by including a short bio about the nominee and why he or should would like to become a member of the Advisory Committee. Past Generation R Leadership Council Members are welcome to apply. Email:
genradvisors@jccmanhattan.org to apply.
Generation R programs are made possible, in part, by grants from UJA-Fed NY and by the Center Without Walls, a project of COJECO, and from individual member contributions.
